Viva La Vulva Blue
Card, foam
Framed
59cm x 59cm
£950
Three dimensional hand cut collage featuring an 18th century medical illustration of the vulva.
When this illustration was drawn, blue was generally associated with girls and pink was for boys. It was deemed a ‘stronger’ colour. This only changed in the 1950’s and has remained this way today. A nice reminder that really colour has no gender. There are two pieces in this mini series. This is the blue one. You can see the pink one here.
Framed in a white wooden box frame supported with a white circular mount. Fixed with D rings and cord ready to hang
