I've always loved kaleidoscopes. I like the transformation that occurs to the images and wondered what would happen if applied to something visceral or distasteful. Would it change to something beautiful? Here I have used vintage anatomy illustrations to create three dimensional kaleidoscopic pieces, in essence looking at myself and all of us through that lens. Hand cut and built using surgical and dental tools, this reflects the original process of the dissection to create the illustrations.
