Klecksographs

Klecksograph is the term for a symmetrical painting historically created with ink. During the Victorian era there was a parlour game called Gobolinks, in which players created inkblots and then wrote poems or short stories inspired by the strange figures and forms that emerged. The psychologist Herman Rorschach was inspired to use inkblots as a diagnostic tool. These were typically plain black ink on a white background. I have created my own ink and paint klecksographs, colourful and joyful, completely opposite to the stark and clinical ones used to diagnose people. Painted on A4 heavy weight paper, each one is unique, unable to be repeated. What do you see?
